Michaela Lassa
LAc, DAc

Michaela Lassa is a licensed Acupuncturist in Indiana and Illinois. Her passion for East Asian Medicine began 8 years ago when she left her job with the Department of Defense and serving in the USAF Reserves to earn her Doctorate in Acupuncture at the Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago. There she studied and worked with practitioners and specialists from around the world to develop her skills and deep love of healing through acupuncture. With this ancient medicine, each patient receives an individualized treatment plan with a whole body approach, opening doors to healing and recovery that they may not have known were possible. She especially loves working with patients that are experiencing chronic pain or dysfunctions who have not found the answers they need from other avenues. Michaela spends meticulous time with each patient to understand their specific health goals and creates a safe and relaxing environment.

Patty Jones
 LAc, MSTOM, Dipl. OM, DCCM

Patty Jones studied East Asian
medicine for four years and earned a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine
(MSTOM) from Pacific College of Health and Sciences. Patty received additional
training in herbology (DCCM) from the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine®️. In
addition, Patty has a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from University of Illinois at
Chicago and is a registered pharmacist (RPh) in Illinios.
Patty has had the desire to help others be healthy since she was 8 years old and
interviewed a pharmacist while working on a Girl Scout career badge. After graduating
from pharmacy school, she began working in a retail pharmacy, dispensing medications
and advice to her patients. She had achieved her goal to help others and was happy
doing so.
Over the last decade, Patty’s belief of what was “healthy” had changed. She felt
there were other ways to maintain her (and her patient’s) health that didn’t include
pharmaceuticals, that was more natural. Her research eventually led her to try
acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. The improvements in her health allowed
her to discontinue some of her medications. Patty was excited to share the wellness
she discovered with her patients, but felt constrained in the environment of the
pharmacy. So after 26 years as a retail pharmacist, she decided to retire from the
profession of pharmacy and go to school to become an acupuncturist and herbalist.
She is excited to help others achieve the wellness and good health that started her on
this journey, and to share what she has learned so that all her patients can lead a better
life.
When not working, Patty enjoys walking through the forest, listening to music,
reading and baking. She has also recently become interested in fermentation of foods.
She and her husband have recently become interested in gardening for their new home.
